About this opportunity
Le charpentier est responsable de la conception, fabrication et pose des charpentes et ossatures en bois servant de support aux bâtiments, maisons ou autres constructions Ses missions incluent : - Lire et interpréter les plans 2D ou 3D fournis par l'architecte ou réalisés par lui-même - Choisir les essences de bois et les sections adaptées à la structure - Tracer, couper, façonner et assembler les pièces en atelier ou sur chantier - Monter et ajuster les structures sur le chantier en respectant les normes de sécurité - Contrôler la qualité des assemblages et la conformité structurelle - Participer à la préfabrication industrielle et à la maintenance de charpentes anciennes
