About this opportunity
Workers will be exposed to water dangers such as poisonous snakes, alligators etc. Drug test may be performed post-hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Workers will be required to follow any posted rules.

- Workers are required to work crawfish ponds in preparation for harvest, repair and replace traps for distribution in ponds, distribute bait traps, harvest crawfish from traps into a trough to grade and sack, rebait and reset traps, pick up traps after harvest and prepare levees with shovel. General farm labor including but not limited to shovel work, cleaning equipment, etc. will also be required.

- Workers will be provided transportation daily by 3-6 seat pickups that are farmer owned and covered under a vehicle insurance policy. Workers start time and stopping time will vary depending upon the weather but under normal circumstances will begin at 6:00 AM to approximate 3:00 PM. If workers do not live in farmer offered housing, they will be instructed to be at the shop or housing location to be transported to the job sites, if they do not have their own transportation.
