About this opportunity
EMPLOYEES WILL HARVEST, PICK, PLANT, PACK ON FIELD SITE, PRUNE, SUCKER, FERTILIZE, COUNT, LOAD AND UNLOAD A VARIETY OF CITRUS. THEY WILL ALSO BE PULLING WEEDS, RAKING, CLEANING AREAS AROUND THE FARMS AND BUILDINGS. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE FIELD MAINTENANCE, CAMP SANITATION, LAYING IRRIGATION PIPE, DIGGING DITCHES, PULLING PLASTIC, LOADING AND UNLOADING. THIS WILL ALL BE DONE UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. HEAVY LIFTING, BENDING AND STOOPING WILL BE INVOLVED ON A DAILY BASIS.

- 2 DAY TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER. The training period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of farm work and to familiarize workers with the job specifications and to demonstrate proper harvest methods and other crop specific issues.

- Housing
- Rental or public accommodations — Housing will meet local, state, and federal requirements. The accommodations are compliant with the applicable housing health and safety standards set forth by the aforementioned regulations. The accommodations are sufficient to accommodate the number of workers requested and are sufficient to accommodate the number of workers requested. I will secure up to 30 beds, 10 rooms for a total occupancy of 30 workers. Housing will require SWA housing appointment for inspection and approval.
