About this opportunity
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Maintain heated watering system. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Truck hay for livestock. Mix feed and additives, fill feed troughs with feed and water for livestock. Remove ice formed in water. Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries. Drive to town to pick up feed. Vaccinate animals by placing vaccine in drinking water or feed using syringes and hypodermic needles. Apply medications to cuts and bruises.

Requirements
- Experience: 3 month(s)
- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.
- Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
- Workers must be able to speak English.
- Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
