- Minimum of 1 months of experience is required.
- Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.
- Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
- Workers must be able to speak English.
- Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performs any of the following seasonal tasks to attend to livestock: Move cattle out of summer pasture in October. Work and vaccinate cattle. Weaning. Feed cattle. Haul cattle to sales barn. Maintain feed equipment. Check cattle for illness/injuries. Corral cleaning/change bedding. Checking/opening frozen water tanks. Prep cattle and barn for calving. Calving. Repair/maintain cattle fencing. At the end of the season, haul cattle back to summer pasture. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies. Farming with: Beef Cattle. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
