- Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
- Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include black angus cattle
- Maintain records on animals
- Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries
- Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate
- Haul feed, grain, and cattle/commodities to market
- Assist with live births
- Break ice in stock takes, thaw frozen lines
- Inspect, maintain, prepare, repair items including feeding/watering equipment, gating
- Push and scrape manure and perform dirt work in fields
- Provide mineral to cattle
- Must speak English.
