- Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
- Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Farm help needed-feed cattle, check cows and water, help with routine winter farm chores including cleaning and maintenance of equipment and buildings
- Attend to live farm, ranch animals that may include cattle
- Maintain records on animals
- Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries
- Assist in birth deliveries
- Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate
- Clean and maintain animal housing areas
- Inspect, maintain, prepare, and repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences
- Provide mineral to cattle grazing rye pasture
- Move livestock from one location to another manually or using trucks or carts. Must speak and understand English.
