About this opportunity
General worker needed for rice & crawfish farm. Work includes tractor driving, field prep, water maintenance, fertilizing, plant and harvest of rice. Field prep includes manual shovel work and hoeing of weeds, spot spraying treatments and general farm labor. Help repair and maintain driers, equipment, farm, field, levees, roads and shop. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, bait and check traps, repair traps as needed. All tools, supplies & equipment furnished at no cost.

- Employer-provided (including mobile or range) — I-10 Eagan/Esterwood exit; take Hwy 91 to Gueydan; take Hwy 14 West toward Lake Arthur; Turn left onto LA-713 (Baker Rd) Destination will be on the left.
- Transportation
- Employer agrees to provide transportation between housing provided or secured by the employer and the employer's worksite(s) at no cost to the worker. A 2006 Toyota with a cap of 2 and a 2003 ford F-150 with a cap of 5, will be providing transportation at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each workday for all employees. Daily transportation at no cost to workers is also available to workers who do not reside in employer-provided housing. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(3)
