• This job corresponds to SOC Code 53-3053 Level 1.
• Shuttle Driver: Operate passenger bus to transport workers to/from housing and to/from worksite and weekly grocery, laundry and banking needs. Inspect vehicle and safety equipment on bus before driving. Pick up workers at living quarters and transport workers to work site. Keep vehicles clean, transfer workers from one worksite to another when necessary. Provide documents/licenses to federal agencies when requested. Additional hours may comprise an additional 30% of the worker's time.
• Five percent of each worker responsibilities may be comprised of inspecting a vehicle, checking gas, oil, and water levels. Reporting and coordinating minor repairs to vehicles such as changing tires and following all maintenance-scheduled requirements. as well as reporting all safety incidents.
• Driver must follow specific routes according to times and schedules indicated by field supervisors/managers.
• Must comply with DOT safety guidelines and traffic regulation for vehicle operation to ensure passenger and vehicle safety. It is essential that the worker safeguard passengers confirming each are seated while following safety practices during vehicle operation, regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort. Drivers are required to report delays and accidents immediately. DOT required medical exam.
• The worker must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.

Housing

Employer-provided (including mobile or range) — Employer leased housing. Family housing is not available and the provision of family housing is not a prevailing practice in the area of intended employment. Co-ed housing is not offered; all female workers will be housed with other females and all male workers will be housed with other males. Laundry facilities are provided at no cost to the worker.

Transportation

The employer will provide daily transportation from housing to the place of employment, and weekly transportation to a banking facility, laundromat and grocery store, utilizing one employer-owned 49-passenger bus and two 15-passenger vans. All transportation is employer provided and at no cost to the workers. Daily transportation to and from the worksite is available to all workers.
