- Experience: 12 month(s)
- Must be able to pass or possess a DOT medical exam that states that employee is fit to drive a bus or a passenger van.
- Be able to obtain or possess a farm labor contractor license. There is a no alcohol policy during work or after work.
- Drivers will safely transport workers from housing to work and back. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: Operating company vehicles safely and courteously in compliance with all traffic laws. Inspecting tires, brakes, lights, windshield wipers, fluids, horns, and safety equipment to ensure proper operation. Performing routine maintenance, including adjusting tire pressure and adding fuel, oil, and water.
- Report vehicle malfunctions, needed repairs, delays, accidents, and other transportation issues
- notify company mechanics and complete accident reports as necessary. Read maps and follow written or verbal directions, maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures, and regulate vehicle heating, lighting, and ventilation for passenger comfort.
- Workers may also carry/deliver filled containers to trucks or a collection area.
